Belgaufra waffle dough is made using “traditional” methods, guaranteeing quality to match its reputation. The ingredients used in its production are sourced from suppliers with established reputations for quality in Europe. The fat content is 100% vegetable fat. The dough is Halal and kosher certified and also complies with the HACCP (international food safety) standard.
The dough pieces are "hand-rolled", which ensures that they are light and elastic for even cooking. Frozen in our production units, before the dough rises, they are packed in boxes of 130 units. Each box has 5 trays with 26 compartments and everything is protected by a plastic cover.
Fresh and ready to use, they do not stick to iron and are cooked very easily, either by gas or electricity, to give a high-quality finished product. Just leave them to thaw and rise: after 3 minutes at 180°C, your waffle is ready!
The box of dough measures 50cm(L) x 30cm(W) x 22cm(H) and contains 130 pieces. The Euro palette comprises 48 boxes of 130 pieces, totalling 6,240 pieces of dough. Each piece of dough weighs 130g.
At room temperature, pieces of dough keep for 4 - 8 hours before cooking.
When refrigerated (+ 4°C), pieces of dough keep for 48 hours.
When frozen (- 18°C), pieces of dough keep for 1 year.
